An analytical balance (or chemical balance) is a class of balance designed to measure small mass in the sub-milligram range. These are highly accurate balances are mostly used in Laboratories and high precision measurements.
There are two types of balances, Top loading which give us an accuracy of +/- 1mg and analytical which give us an accuracy of +/- 0.01mg. these balances normally use wind/draft shield to prevent the interference of air and give us accurate weighment.
